Blog#5 Mix and Match Designers


Now a days it is not nessecary to wear a complete outfit by the same designer. Unless you are wearing a whole gown. The new trend is to mix and match your designers. For example: Wearing a gucci coat with Chanel pants and a Michael Kors top.


Even though people may not have the best taste in fashion keeping colors neutral will always help to stay in style. Some people like to be a bit more adventurious and actually have a bunch of colors in their outfit may not always be the right things but hats off that you took a risk. For expample some people would like to wear: A colorful shirt dress by Mondo but pair it with a printed cardigan made by Betsy Johnson
Even though it is not the most stylish thing to wear, or an outfit that matches at all, some people have that type of style that actually ends up setting a trend.

Being able to mix and match cocktail dresses with a nice blazer from different designers could be a tricky thing. finding the right blazer and the right shape to compliment that cocktail dress could be tricky. But its always good to push the boundries in a stylish way. Paring a printed Versace cocktail dress with  a Vera Wang plaid Blazer.
It is not that fashionbale but at least you a wearing clothing from very respectable designers. It is very hard to mix and match designers because they all have a unique point of view its hard to find something that matches that doesnt come from the same collection.

Some fashion designer use the same colors in their collection depending on what season they are designing for. Pairing a Jacket from Irina and Pairing it with a pant from Chanel. will have you in a style matching and wearing completely different designers.
Mix and Matching designers is not an easy task at hand. But fashion Stylist like Rachel Zoe of to go through the dilema of doing it. They find the best designs mix and match them and then style it with the right accessories and the right hair and make up.
